Purpose for which we process personal data
The purpose of the data collection is to offer you a communication and information tool regarding the GeoAtlantic project.
The personal data provided will be kept until the data subject requests its deletion.

As a data subject, you may have access to your personal data, as well as request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request their erasure when, among other reasons, the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected. In certain circumstances, the interested parties may request a limitation of the processing of their data, in which case only the Council will keep them for the exercise or defence of claims.
In certain circumstances and for reasons relating to their particular situation, the persons concerned may object to the processing of their data. The Council of Ourense will stop processing the data, except for legitimate reasons, or for the exercise or defence of possible claims. As a data subject, you have the right to receive the personal data you provide us with in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to transmit them to another data controller when necessary:
- Treatment is based on consent.
- The data have been provided by the person concerned.
- Processing is carried out by automated means.
In exercising your right to data portability, you have the right to have personal data transmitted directly from data controller to data controller where technically possible.
The persons concerned shall also have the right to effective judicial protection and to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, in this case the Spanish Data Protection Agency, if they consider that the processing of personal data concerning them infringes the Regulation.
You may exercise your rights to rectify, limit and delete your data by making a request to the Council of Ourense, which may be submitted in accordance with the provisions of Article 16.4 of Law 39/2015 of 1 October.
