Spain: GEOTCASA

Within the framework of the Renewable Energy Plan in Spain 2005-2010, on 19 May 2010, the Presidential Resolution of the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving was published in the Official State Gazette, establishing the convocation and corresponding bases for the qualification of companies in the GEOTCASA Program, of geothermal energy in buildings.

: Clean energy for all Europeans

The EU is in the process of updating its energy policy framework in a way that will facilitate the clean energy transition and make it fit for the 21st century. Negotiations have now been concluded on all aspects of the new energy legislative framework – the Clean Energy for All Europeans package – and all of the new rules will be formally adopted in the first few months of 2019. Finalising these changes will mark a significant step towards the creation of the Energy Union and delivering on the EU’s Paris Agreement commitments.

According to the BOE publication of the Resolution of the IDAE Presidency on April 26, 2011, the call and corresponding bases for the qualification of companies in the GIT Program of renewable energies biomass, solar and geothermal for thermal uses in building are established.
