The activity will take place today between 6.30 p.m. and 8.30 p.m.

The Molinera will today be the setting for a talk to inform SMEs, professionals and the self-employed about the potential of geothermal energy in Ourense. The activity will provide information on the systems for heating and hot water production as well as on the aid available for their implementation.

It will take place between 6.30 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. and is a project promoted within the framework of the European Union’s Interreg Atlantic Area and Geo Atlantic programmes. The aim of these initiatives is to boost the production of renewable energy in the Community so that by 2023 at least 27% of all energy consumed will come from clean and renewable sources. The programme of this specific talk, which is being held today in La Molinera, will deal with the general explanation of what geothermal energy is, the origin of the deposits in Ourense, the inventory of these deposits, the therapeutic uses of thermal water and, above all, the energy uses.

On the other hand, tomorrow La Molinera will be the setting for another workshop, in this case with the aim of analysing “Internet and the civic rights of e-commerce and to look for alternatives to freeze or hate social networks”». The activity will take place between 16.00 and 20.00 hours.
